BioVigor Vet has been shown to have antioxidant, antiglycation and mitochondrial metabolical activity stimulation.

Antioxidants are instrumental in combating oxidative stress and neutralizing free radicals, thereby, contributing to improved endothelial health through anti-inflammatory action.

In humans, high glucose leads to the formation of advanced glycation end product (AGE’s) and is one of the effectors in diabetic progression and complication; such as retinopathy and diabetic ulcers. BioVigor Vet has been tested and has shown to effectively reduce advanced glycation end products.

Mitochondrial dysfunction has been implicated in Equine Metabolic Syndrome. BioVigor Vet has been shown to be a key factor in stimulating mitochondrial metabolism and upregulating ATP synthesis.

Equine Metabolic Syndrome has been identified as a major concern for the aging horse population.
